Salut Vincent,
Tres beau portrait de ce Sadhu. Sa coiffe fait un peu peur quand meme!
La lumiere et les couleurs sont superbes. J'aurais cadre juste un peu plus large en incluant plus de sont torse. D'un autre cote, ton cadrage dirige le regard directement sur la coiffe, qui fait la richesse de ta photo.

HI, Vince. Now, I don't remember this one, but the location is, I think, the same. It is nicely exposed , with good colour to. I love the detail, of the Devangari scrip on the skin. As Henk, tells me, the sign on his forehead make him a devotee of Shiva. But his eyes are on you and his mind is on a possible tip, I suspect. great stuff! regards kevin

I can't make out what's written on his forehead or his neck, but he's giving you a cold stare for sure! A great capture with sidelight, yet you brought out details in the shadowed areas...and excellent use of DOF as always! You now have a good folio of this Hindu ascetics...

La vie de ces hommes c'est vraiment difficile, si tu n'es pas fortuné, dedans le système de castes est bien dur, mais en dehors il y a beaucoup des autres difficultés... Eh bien, la photo est très belle, le portrait est très suggestif, le regard de cet homme est forte, digne, fière... et les cheveux!! Magnifique!

salut Vincent,
à 70mm? donc à maximum 3 mètres environ? Tu n'avais pas peut quand il t'a regardé comme ça de côté? Il a les yeux complètement vitreux, ce qui lui donne un air hagard, mais fier. Conscient qu'il se fait prendre en photo, pas vraiment content, mais quand même consentant.
Pour moi, ses cheveux ne sont pas si surprenant...en se promenant une heure à Québec, on devrait trouver un équivalent...Mais ses "peintures" dans le front et dans le cou sont spéciales.

celui-ci était un charlatan ou un "vrai"?

This portrait is unique, unusual, and very well done despite the fact that most of the face is undershade. I have never seen human hairs like this before!
