It looks like early evening light that is casting its warm glow on the stupa. This closeup view works very well with all the prayer flags leading the eye to the top. Well done

Hi Vincent,
My first thought was that it was the Bodnath Stupa but no, you brings us a different one and i am glad you did. Your composition is perfect, i like every detail of it. even that small piece of red stone wall on the left. That shows that the image is not tilted which we might think because of the distortion of the temple. All the colourful flags and the light makes this image very pleasant to look at, real nice, i like it.

A great capture of the Swayambhu, Vince. You have caught a wonderful, fading light that bathes the stupa in a golden light.The relationship between the two stupas in interesting, one Buddhists and the other Newari. Your dark sky is an added plus, giving the golden stupa a touch of contrast and drama. regards kevin

Bonjour Vincent -

This is really interesting decorations on the top of the temple. But, it is not so much the decorations that make this image but it is the light. The warm light of early morning or late afternoon to make the gold leaf glow rather than sparkle. The prayer flags fluttering in the breeze just add to the quality of the image. Well done.

La lumière chaude est superbe, elle attire toute nôtre attention, et contraste très bien avec le plus froid ciel! J'aime aussi la composition, les deux stupas formant une diagonal vers la droite inferieure, ce qui balance très bien la composition. En plus, la richesse de détails et de définition! C'est très belle! Merci.

Bonjour, Vincent. Les drapeaux de prières apportent une jolie touche colorée dans l'ensemble. La lumière sur la stupa est vraiment belle et j'aime beaucoup voir ces yeux qui semblent nous fixer du regard. Il y a aussi de jolies diagonales dans ton image.

Je l'avais "gardé" de côté...
J'adore ce stupa (?), avec ces yeux hypnotisants et je me souhaite de le voir "en vrai" un jour. Le pov est assez original (par rapport aux vues serrées) et la contextualisation est intéressante. En plus, le mur de gauche permet de voir que contrairement aux apparences, ce n'est pas tilté !

Excellente prise, pour la compo, couleurs et principalement la lumière sur le top de la stupa. Tu as capturé très bien la mystique unique de l'endroit.
Elle est un peu inclinée, mais ça c'est rien d'important.
