Washing clothes is job for the low caste. (You are born into your caste, must marry and live with your caste). Everyday rain or shine they will be scrubbing the clothes whererever they find water. The (now ex)King of Nepal stopped the water which filled tanks since the 14th century or long before, a couple of years ago. He decided the poor must pay for water, by meter. The poor have no plumbing, no running water to meter. Little or no water now fills most tanks. This woman used a pan of water as she sits above a large tank, washing to earn her living. Before clothes were laid on the grass where cows wandered, but now concrete buildings are rapidly filling every inch of land, so washing must be hung.

Hello Gloria
It is a pity this has been neglected, as it is an interesting and well composed shot. The inclusion of the nearest line of washing really makes us feel part of the scene.
The small size of the image and the 'noise' and lack of clarity brings the shot down I'm afraid. As this is not the case in most of your other photos, I am not sure what went wrong here.
A good look into the work and problems that
face these people every day.
