Hello Geof,
I'm afraid we cheated when we visited this stupa; the coach took us right to the top;-) I like the angle of view here looking down all these steps and including a glimpse of the modern city down below. Great colours and textures.

Nice viewpoint, makes it feel really steep. As I visited from the other side of the stupa I hadn't realised these steps were here. Reminds me of parts of Paris as well.

Hello Geof

This reminds me of the famous Shanti Stupa in Leh at 11400ft 9( pic in my album )..from ground level there were 108 steps steep uphill climb...gosh one needs energy bars to take a walk up...a good perspective...presume they others down there are members of your group...You are fast !!

Cheers.

Hi Geof,
A marvellous view here, you can really feel the steepness and the struggle to get up here to take the photo. How high were you above the houses in the background?
Regards
Gunnar

Geof
Great comment and a warning for those who have difficulty with steps on holidays.

These people must be in great condition!! This has excellent depth. I like the pov giving us a sense of how steep these stairs are. Very nice! TFS

Hi Geof. Very nice and unusual perspective for this shot. Great color and clarity.
