As we were trekking around the Annapurnas, it started to snow... People never saw this since the last 60 years ! Because of the avalanche risk, we had to spend a few days waiting around the common fireplace in our guesthouse.
This little girl is the daughter of the owner. Back in Kathmandu, we sent her this portrait.

Hi Steph,
Beautiful natural light from the one side to illuminate this lovely girls face. Nice off centre composition and colour and the shot has a great warmth to it.

Trekking around TE this girl invited me in for shelter... A lovely look, soft natural colours. Great that you managed to send this picture to her. Have you considered cropping this shot (into a square?) with only the black background? Might be even more powerful.
