In other countries of Asia a monk on a motorbike would seem impossible, but in Nepal, these monks of the Tibetan tradition have a more relaxed attitude to tradition. Their temples are often on high hills outside the city and I guess they couldn't get around without some compromise with the modern world.I like the way that the color of this guy's motor bike matches his robes. With the bike he can be holy and fast.

Funny how the red bike match his clothes, quite a late model bike, who said that a budhist monk must be sober, a jain monk is, he dosn't get his foot, the devotees do it for him.
A good document portrait of the monk with his bike.

Hello Kevin,
A good capture of this bike riding monk, whose clothes seem to match the colours of his bike. He seems very proud of his machine, which looks well maintained. Very good daily life shot in the TE tradition, thanks for sharing.

He looks funny that way with the helmet, the sun glasses and his monk robe. Great catch Kevin.

Hallo Kevin!
A wonderful photo - and an a bit funny one. Why shouldn't he drive a motorbike!? These are Central European thoughts - I know, but ... ;-)
A not everyday photo here on TE - great!
