Bhaktapur, is an ancient and beautiful city in the Kathmandu valley. It is built on a hill, so steep that motor vehicles cannot enter the city. The street are full of farmers and traders from the hill farms, selling their produce to the city dwellers. This couple is selling dried fish, probably from the lake at Pokhara. Dried fish is a staple thought out Asia as it is the most ancient and low tech was of preserving food. It is an important source of preteen for many Asian people.

Excellent composition with the man as lovely subject.
The look and the face of the man is wonderful, even the fish can we see.
Sharpness and and clarity are very well, certainly with the focus on the man.
Very well done.

John.

Hi Kevin!
It's great, he looks so serious, maybe because he has a very hard life. I like his expression, colours and light are also very good. I like the composition with the dried fish, it's not so common in photos. When I first looked, almost seemed to me that the fish was grilled. Very good work!

Hi Kevin, This shot reminds me of the style of scalerman, which is a good thing... Nice sharp image of the main subject, showing enough background to let the viewer know the context of the shot. well done. Cheers, Steve
