| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
The toilet tent was in place and the clothes on the line as we camped amongst the clouds during the third day of a 5 day trek in the Annapurna region of Nepal.
Then the clouds parted momentarily and Hiunchuli appeared. Hiunchuli at 6441metres is an extension of Annapurna South (7219metres) - it is apparently one of the most difficult peaks to climb in Nepal because of falling rocks. It was first climbed in 1971. |

Very Very impressive silhouette in the front, and powerful view of the mountain pick! Nice job, but is that really a toilet tent???
Anyway, good job!

Hi Marlene,
funny title! And an amazing composition! I like the peak becoming visuable through the clouds. A very interesting impression. Congratulation!
Best regards
Harriet
Hi Marlene.
I had to see the full shot before I realised just what the 'view' referred to. I wonder how many people allowed the thumbnail to slip by without realising what they were missing. It's really a fantastic view of this great peak. It's a great idea to show the mundane aspects of human existence in silhouette in front of what looks like an opening into heaven. Maybe you could crop some off the bottom and a little off each side.
Regards,
Andrew
