In the backstreets of Kathmandu I stumbled on a little monastic school attached to a Tibetan temple. The Tibetan novices, refugees from the Chinese occupation of their homeland are trying to preserve their culture and religion in exile. The present communist government of Nepal has repress demonstrations on behalf of Tibetan exiles lately. These two little novices were cheeky and full of fun, with a lot of giggling, they showed me around their poor little school

Exactely the kind of typical mood I found many times in the more remote temples of Laos, Kevin. Excellent double portrait with dificult light. Their diferent expressions are funny as are the shoes from the kid in the front. He seems naughty but his wise friend makes sure he doesn't cross the line ;-)

I really enjoyed your note with this. These little guys are cute and nice to know that they are enjoying themselves. They appear very happy that you are taking their pictures. A nice double portrait. The expressions and colors are very nice.

Maybe the color is a little more intense than one would expect!
