Hi Kourosh,
This is easily my favourite of your mini series here....the faithful in the act of praying and the ruins of the mosque layng diagonally across the frame make for a striking image and a reminder of the damage done last year.

Cheers
Mark

an excellent photo Kourosh, the composition is really great. I wish I was at that time at that spot with you. very good work, one of your best

Man, you are on a roll! I almost like this one hte best of the entire series - that cross shape at muslim pareyers is incredibly ironic and poignant somehow. It is like the shadow of the old crusades over this dessimated land.
Incredible work.
Bravo,
Francis

hi kourosh
amazing show how you've juxtaposed the ruins against the praying people. they dont even look like people, like coloured sheets, just amazing, very graphical too.

This is really good Kourosh. I think a very good documentary, both on the destructive results of the quake and a commentary on the importance of many peoples' faith. I think this could easily find its way into any article describing how life is for people in the aftermath of the quake. Excellent, I think one of your very best.

Hello Kourosh,
Very emotional photo. The composition is excellent, with all the men bowing in prayer to the top, and the exposed beams in the lower section. Your POV is great, too.

Hi Kourosh, when I have seen the thumbnail I recognized your style, those prayer pictures are excellent, again a very nice compo with all those people who bend over and this structure made of concrete which gives a direction to our sight...
Well done and well sharp

Hi Kourosh,
Perfect report photo, well seen this angle with people and "mosque"; Well composed,Bravo and TFS.

This is a wonderfully powerful image and a great document. (Why do you have to promise about prayer pictures? Maybe you get the same response that I get to my monk pictures,) I love the economy of color here and the strong geometry, made by the structure of the building and the repeat pattern of the worshipper. How strange that the position of your worshippers is so similar to that of mine, even though the belief system is so different.

My first visit to your gallery, and I must say I am impressed. This shot is not only artistic (the lines from the damaged mosque crossing through the image) but also very telling. Despite the lack of a proper place of prayer, the devout will always find a place and won't let things like this get in the way. This is a very moving image.
