Sometimes I feel. damned it! why cant this area be so safe so I could go there, bringing my family and hike.
and then I realize...
such egoistic idea of wishing for peace so I could go on holiday there. when people get killed and starving and what ever...
do you understand what I mean...

Hej Gert,
You certainly have an intressting portfolio. You have visited so many contries! Do you remeber whats behind the vhill in between the mountains? It lokks like it could have been a lake or something. Big contrats between the lower buildings and thoose n the hills indeed.

In this case, I can see that you must have been thinking a lot about the composition and planned the picture well. I do not believe you took a lot of pictures here, as one does nowadays with digitals. The bridge is perfectly placed, the horizon in the correct relation to the motive and so on... Must be one of your best pictures!

Yes, 1986 were different times. Jolly times! The world has unfortunately changed for the worse. Especially in this part of the world. The menace and obsession of terrorism and world politics has had its toll on Swat. Nice pic nonetheless worthy of full rating.

Must have been very peaceful in 1986, a few years before chronic commercialisation got there, before it became part of the beaten track.
