Greetings everyone !
HEre's very nice pic of "Gardah". Gardah is the name given in Pakistan/afghanistan for unpressed sieved cannabis resin.
After the plants are dried, flowers are sieved and then the sticky powder is packed inside bags made of goat skin. the bags are tightly sealed andthen stored (for a duration of a few month to several years) for ageing. indeed, as wine does, hashihs need some ageing and curring in order to reach its full potential. the gardah can be pressed by hand or by "machinery", huge mortar under whihc a fire is lighted. gardah powder is put in the mortar and then pounded with a heavy stone motionned by several man. The resulting product is usually dark, sticky goey. It is called charas (not the same than hand rubbed indian, but that's another story for anotehr time).
This pic was shot in a dope shop (hash, opium, heroin) in Darra Adam Khel.
Note : this post (orany other of my post related to cannabis)shouldn't be viewed as apology, in any case. the only goal is to inform about this fascinating subject and, of course, to share nice pics ! |
