Photographer’s Note

Pakpattan has been a major Islamic pilgrimage centre for hundreds of years. The attraction is the tomb of Farid Shakar Ganj (1173 - 1265 AD), a Sufi saint of the Chistian order. Crowd control is a significant problem, and I seem to recall that there is a small admission charge. Again, as a reminder, this was the second day of the three-day Eid-ul-Fitri celebration.
