Photographer’s Note
The sun has set over Pakpattan. Some pilgrims have taken their place on the terrace of the shrine dedicated to Farid Shakar Ganj (1173 - 1265 CE). His Urs is one of the largest to be celebrated in Pakistan, on the 5 - 9 Muharram. Here there is quiet. Many will stay the night, talk and pray.
