This shot is great for showing us the daily life of these people - there's a lot of interesting detail and I like the contrast between the concentration of the girl busy with the cooking and the direct gaze of the boy.
I think you could have done better with the framing though - just a slight shift to the left would have improved it, including the boy's outstretched hand and cutting down on the empty black space on the right.
I'd also have preferred it with less burn-out of the light streaming through the door, but that was a tough call, especially with a digital sensor.
I like this shot though - like I said, it's a great depiction of their way of life, and it's full of interest.

For US it is a normal Kalash HUT hence may this attract more in West as it is well composed and framed, nice vivid shot and TFS.

Hi Pierre,
Wow what a great shot. Like the national geography shot.Wonderful representation of the daily life. The boy looking straight to the camera give the shot a bold look. Exposure is controlled so brilliantly and the overall composition and mood is simply brilliant. It looks a bit oversaturated but i dont bother.

j'adooore cette photo de vie quotidienne,et particulièrement la femme en pleine activité.Son costume est superbe.Je trouve le cadrage excellent car on peut voir tous les éléments principaux de cette scène,et ce qui en fait l'attrait : le feu,les pierres de la maison,les gamelles,et ce petit garçon qui semble bien interessé par ton activité à toi!Je trouve que le feu donne de belles couleurs et une belle ambiance à la photo.

Tu sais déjà que le sujet me plaît, en fait encore plus cette fois car nous voyons ces Kalash dans leur habitat traditionnel, tu as dû souffrir un peu avec les bedbugs mais ça en vallait sûrement la peine !

C'est vraiment un voyage extraordinaire que tu as fait là, et effectivement, je conçois qu'il était préférable d'être seul, c'est tout de même plus facile de se faire inviter pour ce genre de partage. On a ici toujours ces beaux habits. J'aime ici l'opposition du mur noir par rapport à la lumière qui entre. Le feu ressort bien et ...les galettes me semblent très appétissantes. Bravo chanceux !
