Salam Alaikum Raza!
Nice to see some shots of Aashura from Karachi. Before enlarging this picture, i thought it was "Mezan/Manan Chowk" of Quetta.Very good.(Best of luck)

Salam Raza
Good composition, a bit less contrasty, but for a phone camera picture, it is pretty good.

Just want to clear things for knowledge of others that Raza is right 'Ashura' is a big holiday in Muslim world, but in this form (injuring one's self by beating and flogging to pay tribute to Martyres) is the practice of only the "Shia" branch of Islam.
Ashura is oberved in remembrance of God saving Moses from Pharaoh's army, like the Jewish Yom Kippor.
Islam strictly prohibits inflicting injury to self as well as others, as it teaches self restraint.
Worth mentioning here that Iran which is a majority shia country has banned this kind of tribute. Only symbolic light beating of chest with palm is what I have seen in Iran ashura processions.
Regards,
Hasan

عاشوراء Āshūrā is not well understood in the western world, so pictures like this help us find out a little more about the significance of this event. It can be confronting to see, but I find it useful to learn more about the world and view such images. Well done and thank you for sharing.
