Rubbish sells...

cardboard boxes...

empty milk cartons...

shredded pieces of cement bags...

young Afghan refugees...

5 Rupees a kilo...

pick them piece by piece...

fill the bag!!!

5 Ruppees a kilo...

a bag of rice, some sugar and tea,

cough syrup for mother...

Rubbish indeed sells

and the cost is childhood

Nice shot, nice model, nice subject. This is the truth of our world unfortunately. Kids are suffering in the first place, from war of some oil hungry monsters.

A documentary shot into the lives of the people far away from many...but just a fence down from where I live Kamran. A sad story shared by our two people. Captivating and well shot. Shayad dono ki galiyan ek jaisi hi hain!!!!

This is such a sensitive portrait, Kamran. You have portrait the life of this poor boy so feelingly. It is quite moving to look at his work worn hands and his weary face. The composition it especially good, dynamic and fresh. The boy makes an near pyramid to the right and balanced by the two men to the left. Good context and nice use of DoF too.

Hello Kamran, A photo with a message, Well framed with the other two guys looking on & just out of focus, Our main focus is the young boy with his sack full of what we consider rubbish for sale.
Thanks
Santo

hello........kschana.......
nice movment you take..........
weldon..............
and your coments hust like a poetry.........
weldon....................

Kamran, i take it for granted too often, yet my standard of living is so much more than other's in the world. Recently i spoke to someone from 'compassion' who said - "if we can live more simply so others can simply live" - it challenged me greatly!
Good photos entertain - great photos make commentary on life. This is a great photo - bravo! mark

Hello Kamran,
I didn't see this one before. A good photo in several ways - composition, balance of colours, choice of focus, but mainly the message about conditions of life in parts of the world.
Best regards,
Gert
