[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
I was walking in a park afternoon.Suddenly i saw this young boy sitting in a vacant water basin.Didn't know the reason but i found it bit touchy hence i captured it.Eventhough he knew that i was taking his shot, yet he ignored me.He was entirely lost in his deep thoughts.
He was wearing bright YELLOW shirt with light coloured trousers and wall had its natural color.
I gave it B&W effect because i like it this way.
Hope you will enjoy this shot.
Thanks

The boys sadness seems to echo around the walls that surround him. I feel sad just looking at it and I'm generally a very happy person. Seriously though, it is persuasive with its mood. Also, the steps upon which he sits seem to dead end into a wall with no door. Has he come so far only to be stonewalled? Well taken, and I hope he cheered up later in the day. Regards, TW

Incredible! The feeling of sadness is really flowing from the picture. Good POV makes it look like those stairs lead nowhere increasing the sense of misery.
To catch a moment like this one needs to have his eyes (and camera) wide open all the time!
Job well done!

Hi Muhammad,
a touching shot.
The black and white fits very well to this picture!
I think that it would be better if the boy was on the left side... to give more depth to his glance (and to his thougts)...
But really a beautiful shot!!!
Thanks for sharing,
Chiara

Hi Muhammad, I lik ehow you muted the contrast its very effective in impacting the mood of the child and your title. Yes, I like this in BW I think, it emphasizes the boy's hair and him as well and the mood. Thanks for sharing...Alex

M: this one is powerful - simply put - as you know. A very pounding shot. regards, c

Hello Muhammad,

A great picture, though I'd love to see the colour version too, from the way you describe it, it must be pretty good too. (You could have posted it in WS.)

A classic shot. Thanks.

Benny

This unhappy and alone state of kid makes me so sad.
Children should not be such thoughtful, he must be playing with some friends.. Or at least he should have posed you smiling or waving hand or I don't know... He should have done something fitting his childhood...
His loneliness surrounded by faint walls and 4 steps going nowhere... Very touching...
B&W supports touching atmosphere somehow..
Have a nice day,
Burcu

simple, power here, deep, good BW PP, i like a lot
thanks

Hi Muhammad!
Beautiful shot! You framed the little boy very well, I wonder what's thinking about. He seems really sad. Good compostion and a very good conversion to B&W, it was a good choice.

muhammad

Yes, he was crossing one of that bad moments.. Your image is very beautiful. perfect the way you put things inside the frame, the option for B&W is smart cause I think the colors of the walls weren't beautiful. Good light and pov

hugs
