Tilapia is a freshwater fish, whose delicate flavour is very popular at Filipino dinner tables.

Tilapia is often farmed - both commercially, or, in this case, privately in ponds maintained especially for the purpose.

Hi , Rew .
Very beautiful photo !
What makes it so special is the looooong poles where you can't distinguish the surface of the water at a first glance - and the wonderful shades of blue !
Very nice shot !
Regards
Dorte.

Salut Rew !
Ce paysage est superbe surtout la partie de l'eau et des reflets. Le fond bleu met bien en valeur le graphisme des tiges qui sortent de l'eau.
Jacques

Perfect blending of the reflections and the real, Rew

Hi Rew,
The stillness of the water makes the reflection awesome and you captured it superbly. Mabuhay!

Hi Rew. Lovely calm image, good handling of light and excellent composition. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers, Paul.

The reflexion gives a cool effect here. Well seen.

Hi Rew

This is a very interesting point of view You got here.
At first sight I couldn't decide what is real and what is reflection - I think, this puts this shot into the extraordinary category. This picture reminds me of some shots from an artist (which name I cannot remember right now - sorry) who makes 'installations' in and on water, takes a photo of it and removes it afterwards.

Last words: I like it :)

Hi Rew, nice shot with good perspective of the branches and excellent reflections. I may of cropped the leaves out from the right of the picture as they are a little distracting but still a great shot. Well done and TFS.
Dean.

Hi Rew,
Tilapia is popular in India as well and is known by the same name. This one is a beautiful image of the pond, love the reflections.

Hi Rew - very calming, the line of sticks gives it an appealing geometry, I bet the fish are delicious.

Hi Rew
this reflection is so clear, if it wasnt for the leaves on the right, I wouldnt have known when those branches ended. Very interesting composition.

Hello Rew
Beautiful reflections..you've done well in keeping the pond almost fully in the frame. I like the gradation of blue of the water as I look from the bottom half of the frame to the top...Maybe you could have cropped those odd leaves on the right..Very interesting work.
Regards
Angshu
PS : Tilapia is also very common in India

hi rev,
trees is nice symetric line.
good shot.

thanks for share.

Excellent reflections for this shot. I love your composition with good work on light and shadows.
Well done

It is very nice. Thanks.

A really unique photo, Rew. I love the confusing aspect of it that draws you in and makes you try to figure out what is going on.

Great reflections, Rew. I like the diagonal line created by the plants. Regards, Yvonne

Dear Rew,

Try to change the frame of the picture. The thick dark edge is not appropriate for this picture in my opinion.
However, it is a very nice picture. The compositiona and the sharpness are impressive.
