Banaue is around 300km (12 hour overnight bus!!) north of Manila, on the island of Luzon in the Philippines.

The rice terraces around Banaue and nearby Batad, are thought to be the 8th wonder of the world. Truely worth a look, for their sheer size and vastness are spectacular to see.

Unfortunately this shot appears a little over exposed in the sky, which has come out partly white and quite bright.

Still a nice shot you have, Next time mayby next time a more enlarged shot would be better, You can use it to it's max on TE 800pix if im correct, Cheers on nice scene, Very detailed, It really deserves the name as "8th wonder of the world"
