Last year, we went to a trip to Mindanao (Southern part of the Philippines). While we were waiting for our ferry ride going to Camiguin Island, I saw a group of kids, all looking dirty, playing around the area. They approached me once they saw my camera. I think kids like being photograhed by nature! :) This particular kid was shy at first when I asked him if I can take their pictures. He was trying to cover his face. After taking this shot, I let him see it thru the lcd. After showing him his pictures, he and the other kids followed me around asking me to take more of their pictures.

Kids are a joy to shoot!!! :)

Wonderful capture Cary. I agree kids are a great joy to capture, I had a similar experience in a village fair not two days ago where a whole band of kids followed me around.

kids are my most favorite subject. you did a very good job cary. great framing and sharp color. congrats.

going thru some TE photos, i've seen quite a lot of poor-kid-beggar themes, and this one is not it. ang galing! you've taken out that poor-beggar flavor and captured the innocent happiness of the child in an excellent manner.
