My first posting after about four months of having been away...

Taal Volcano nestled over Taal Lake in Batangas Province, Southern Luzon, Philippines... Taken from the Taal Vista Hotel, this panorama was taken shortly before sunset, on a relatively foggy day.

Known as a lake within a lake, the prominent "mouth" is actually what is left of the volcano's tip after its eruption. A large part of the remaining volcano is thus submerged.

Ahh Lake Taal! Great perspective Noogy, nice scene. The colors are vivid, and the shot is well balanced. I really like how you can see the details on the mountains farthest in the background, as it glows with color.
