Photographer’s Note
Bukidnon is one of the agricultural areas in the Philippines. Located in the inlands of Mindanao at several hundreds meters above sea level, the climate is much more mild (lower maximum temperatures) then at the coast at sea level. The milder climate favours the growing of pineapples and citrus fruits.
This photo shows a small part of some of the huge pineapple fields. Before the entire area was owned by Del Monte. They built housing for their employees including shopping needs and entertainment.
We visited this are with friends where we also stayed. Hotels or resorts are not widely available in this area. It was a very cloudy day with rain to come later during the day.

Hallo Harko.
