Photographer's Note

This is a scene along the Pasig river between the area of Sta Ana and Pandacan, right in the heart of Metro Manila showing a portion of the bank populated by boat operators and traders while a major construction takes place in the background. This was my first time to see the city from another perspective and I saw many interesting scenes among them is the presidential house, the Malacanang Palace, the Pandacan oil depot, also the small boats commuting across the river. There is a segment of the river where the Malacanang Palace is located and in this area we were not allowed to photograph, going back though to Guadalupe station later, I totally forgot about the no-photo zone and I was quickly reminded by a crew member as I was about to take some photos.

To take the ferry boat is the most efficient transport if you are going to Manila from Makati, avoiding traffic and the stress while discovering new parts of the city not just for tourists but also for locals.
