I spent a night with a badjao family in one of their traditional homes you see in the background. they are built completely on the water, as the access to the sea is more important than the access to land. Again, very friendly people.

What a great natural shot!
I want to be there at your place, that's totally my cup of tea since i went photographying different bajau villages in the northern tip of Borneo.

I love how the bangka floater comes protruding blurry in the foreground. it's really like we were beside you when you took the shot. Once again a shot cannot speak to me more than yours.

Goes into my favs.

A gem. A photograph with much cultural and historical significance. If only you could correct the rotation a little bit (about a degree and a half anti-clockwise) but you will lose the slide frame which adds to the charm of the photo and selectively increase saturation of the lighter part in the middle on the house next to the man. Tough call.

This picture blew me away. Such a wonderful composition evoking a sense of warmth and hospitality. I haven't seen pictures of Badjaos for a long long time and this picture is certainly worth the wait. The border is also charming: it fits the theme.

Very nice composition!!
Nice tone of colors. Lots of feeling and details here. Even i've seen something like this many times before coz' i born in Thailand.>>> Just wonderful!

This is a great shot. You've captured their expressions and their surroundings, without allowing the surroundings to overrun the photo. Well done!

Hi Cerdo. Wonderful to see this far away place through your lens. It is remarkable and a simple ancient way of life you show in this series. Congratulations. Murray.
