Fat, old and deep in the earth

| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
Here's Mirozhsky Monastery in Pskov, Cathedral of Transfiguration of Christ, built in year 1156. Cathedral is famous because of uts frescoes, 80% of the original frescoes, made my Bysantic painters, are survived and covering the walls of the cathedral.
Building is very fat-looking now, because it's sink deep into the earth, at least on 1,5 meters. Also territory of the monastery is all covered in trees, so it's hard to find a spot to shot whole cathedral. I found only this opening in the park. |

Привет! Судя по всему, ты где-то недалеко.Жирный и старый, говоришь.Ну да, почти 900 лет!А Псковичи тоже кириллицей пользовались? Они из Киева её взяли? У них язык похож был?

Hello Uhu,
You found the perfect opening in the trees in the park. The natural frame makes your picture very beautiful and gives it a strong contrast between the dark park and the white monastery.
Well done, Paul
