Photographer’s Note

Arkhara (Russian: Архара) Railway Station, 1,209km from Vladivostok. The local people were selling some meals to the passengers as the train arrived at the station early in the morning.

The Trans-Siberian Railway is connecting Moscow and European Russia with Vladivostok and Russian Far East provinces and through eight time zones and 9,289km.

The shot was taken with a Samsung Kenox 35mm film camera. This picture is a Fuji color negative film (ISO 100) scan using an Epson 4990 scanner.
