Photographer’s Note
Here are the photo of the Oreshek (The Nutshell) Fortress, taken from the very fast moving boat.
Oreshek was founded by Novgorodians in XIII century, present-day walls are mostly from XVI century.
As you can see, waterspecks are all around - boat was quite strong-powered.

Hi Uhu!
Famous fortress. Dangerous place. Wonderful perspective. Great effect.
Cordially!

Hello Vlad,
This is an impressive fortress, captured well in this action shot. Indeed, the droplets in the air suggest high speed and the noise of the motor.
Regarding your note on the Nobel Prize, I could not agree with you more! The Nobel Prize for Peace has been a joke for years, and the Prize for Literature approaches that silly state. Unhappily, the committees that selects the winners wants to influence history, rather than reward someone who has indeed achieved a milestone for bringing about world peace. The prizes in the sciences are considerable easier to defend (Einstein, Heisenberg, Bohr...). This is not meant to be a political statement.
Regards,
Bulent
