After rather shocking pictures of rats and people, rather unexpected, I thought of something soothing. I have no swans at hand, so maybe the white pigeons will do? Doves, usually white in color, are used in many settings as symbols of love, peace or as messengers. Doves appear in the symbolism of Judaism, Christianity, Islam and Paganism, and of both military and pacifist groups.

I saw these pigeons on my way to Neva River. On the right, it is the wall of Winter palace. You can see how crowded the streets are.
