Nice shot of this guy. In russian, this street is called Old Arbat. I have also a good picture of him. Maybe one day I will post it.

I'm in Italy now where you can often see street performers (mostly playing to the tourist crowd I admit) who are looked upon with disdain by locals. A well composed shot but It would have been better, had more impact had you got all of the girl in the frame I think.

Hi, Oscar. The contrast is not only in the clothes but als in the colours. You've focussed on the busker with his colourful shirt while the girl walking away is blurred, which makes him the centre of interest in your picture. A well thought composition.

É pena mas, é o mundo real. Nem todos podem olhar para todos à sua volta. Claro que há muito olhar selectivo nos dias que passam!
Mas olhando para a tua foto, o que realmente sobressai são as cores vivas na camisa do artista. A sua expressão facial também é muito boa, com o olhar dirigido provavelmente a outra mulher a passar. Quem sabe? Para mim, está um retrato muito bonito.

A daily life scene well presented with good capture of the musician trying to get some attention under a good light allowing to see nicely the details. Yes, the people passing behind him seem to have no interest...Very nice colors too!

Oscar, me parece que la tia va acompañada del tio que no salio por completo en la foto. Que vas a meter al guitarrista en problemas.. el pobre hombre solo esta tratando de ganarse el pan... no todos tenemos la suerte tuya... :)

Acerca de la foto, me gusta como habeis jugado con la distancia focal para crear la historia entre los sujetos.

As if taken in a Latin City rather than Moscow! 165 mm zoom was very helpful to capture his natural pose. The use of red is superb, and the quality is as well. Not sure about the quarter man on the right, but he now serves as a natural frame :))

Excellent image Oscar and a great social observation. The character in the foreground with the bright red clothing jumps out at us, drawing our interest in. Quite good how they are also going in their seperate directions, leading seperate lives.

Nice portrait, Oscar, the eye is attracted instantly by his bright clothes, but the main thing that balances the composition is the fact that the two main characters look/move in the opposite directions. Very good optical quality also makes this an eye catcher.

la meva dona diu que si és una albergínia el que té aquest home a la mà.(?)
Però no, és una balalaika oi? Conyes apart, m'agrada el resultat del quadre, molt clar al primer pla i desenfocat al pla mig i al fons. Ben regulada la profunditat de camp.
Bona qualitat d'imatge i de colors.
El que expliques a la nota és cert, ara Rússia te un gran contrast entre l'opulència d'uns quants i la misèria d'altres. Ja és capitalista.

Muy interesante la utilisacion de los dos personajes posicionados diagonalmente el uno contra el otro
muy bonito ambiente. Estoy de acuerdo contigo la calle mas simpatica de moscu dentro de lo que vi. De repente vuelvo el proximo ano para hacer el transiberiano.

Good capture and composition, though I probably would crop off that person beside her (her boyfriend?). The way her head and feet are cut off even looks pleasing. There are certainly contrasts here, in more ways than one. My only complaint - you should have focused on the girl instead :-)
