[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
This is the second in my occasional series of shots done as a study of St. Basil's Cathedral in Red Square. It was taken in the evening in clear light, around the same time as my first posting, but shows different details. Let's face it; this is an endlessly fascinating structure!

Technical: High Pass sharpening, some other minor adjustemnts. Brightness and Contrast raised slightly.

Point de vue intéressant et bon cadrage. La netteté et le rendu des couleurs sont excellents.

Hi Dan,
Vivid, contrasty and so colorful, I like this close framing that turns the bulbs into the gelati of an italien ice cream seller ;-)
Have a nice day JY

Hi Daniel,
This is a beautiful and attractive close-up photo of this famous cathedral in Moscow. Great sharpness and the sunlight is enhancing. But most of all the colours are really fantastic and with the blue sky you also had a great background here. Thanks a lot for sharing!
Regards,
Lars

Salut Daniel!
Une belle image très intéressante aux jolies formes et merveilleuses couleurs. Une belle présentation et bon cadrage. Beau contraste entre les tours et le superbe ciel.
Félicitations!... et Joyeuses Pâques,
Emilius

The colours of this image really stand out of your gallery. The vibrance is stunning. Your creative framing works very well to make an almost abstract image. Good work

Hello Daniel

An interesting and concentrated way to show the color palette of St. Basil's in one shot. The sky blue is amazing, I almost felt - unnatural (almost feels as if the towers have been juxtaposed on an artificial background), but then read your note to Scalerman. Well timed shot!

warm regards and TFS

ps. I am not sure what's happening with focus here. in distance planes, it seems to alternate between soft and crispy then soft again, then crispy clear again...

hello Dan,
out of the three posts I definitely prefer this one, I like a lot how you composed the shot with the two bigger domes framing the one in the middle. superb colours and details, you have used the crisp and clear light very well.

with kind regards,
Kristine
