Hello Francine,

Fabulous portrait, where you have caspted the man's soul. In cropping the image, however, you might think of placing the subject's face slightly off center, with one eye right on the centerline. I might have mentioned before, that in all great portraits — from Leonardo's three portraits of women (Ginevra de' Benci, Cecilia Gallerani, and the Mona Lisa), in Rembrandt's numerous self-portraits, in Van Gogh's and Picsso's — the centerline passes through one eye. This principle was discovered in 1998 by Christopher Tyler, pschologist from England practicing in San Francisco. I wrote about it in chapter 8 of my book 'Math and the Mona Lisa,' available now in 11 languages, but not in French unfortunately.

Superbe portrait aux teintes chaudes. Le cadrage serré permet de bien distinguer tous les détails du visage de cette homme qui semble très fière de se faire photographier.

C'est une très belle tête d'homme, il a fière allure et est habillé élégamment... J'aurais peut être préféré un peu plus de contexte autour, mais c'est parfois difficile - il est splendide en tous cas et j'aime les couleurs aussi...
Rentrée depuis 3 jours avec tellement de photos que je ne sais pas par où commencer !
