A section of the Russian Far Eastern Pacific fleet, in Golden Horn Bay, Vladisvostok. Stalin actually located the airport over 50 km away, so that visitors couldn't see that the port was icebound, for 6 months of the year.

Just noticed after uploading, that there are some horizontal scratches & stains, in the sky, courtesy of the local film lab here in Korea, which I no longer use. Workshops are welcome! The white boat on the horizon, in the middle bg, has 'Korea Coast Guard' (in English) on its side.

Bonjours,

Hi Chris,
very interesting capture of this place. I also like your idea of leading the bridge into the ship very much. Must be quite exciting to have a view of the ship inside.

and best regards

Hello Chris,
Well chosen point of view with good sharpness. Given the dull sky, the image would probably make a good black and white conversion.

Hi Chris! It is a picture that you present with martial boats of Russian fleet. Marvellously as picture and prospect and her choice place also splendid. The errors small do not bother me. Greetings my and praises

Bonsoir, cher Chris,
Philippe

Hello Chris,

You was very close to the marine ships, you could also a visit bring to the warship, for drink a bottle vodca.
You found absolutely a very nice subject for this image.
Indeed the sky is little bit gray, but the boats make a lot well.
Very well done, TFS.

Have a nice weekend,
John.

Bonjour Chris,
Regards.
Daniel.

This photo is like an invitation to travel, plus because of the Cyrillic alphabet we feel already in another place, I like the composition too : TFS !
Cath.

Hi Chris, Very interested to see this composition from Vladisvostok, where i plan to visit one day. Good to include the ramp as foreground and excellent POV showing many berthed ships. TFS. Murray.
