Photographer's Note

Sungnyemun Gate or also the Southern Gate is the oldest woodden structure in Seoul, dated back to 1395 and renovated several times there after. Once it protected the city from the Korean Tigers. Today it stands in the very center of the city and daily traffic around it just keeps growing.
The Police has understanding for turists and does not request you to return back to the side walk as long as you stand your tripod on the yellow stripes marked on the road.
