Photographer's Note
Beomeosa Buddhist Temple is nestled in the leafy hills overlooking northern Busan. I liked the tri -layering here. Polarised. Fuji 200 iso film.

Hi Chris,
We're neighbors today, both with a house of worship!
Lovely composition, where I like the well balanced use of layers... Fine lines too!
Super clarity in the colours, and the sharpness is amazing!
Greetings,

Hi Chris, this is a simple, but striking image. Great POV, and sharp, clean lines of the temple roofs. Good colour and sharpness too. Perhaps a human figure would've enhanced the image, but that isn't always possible. A pleasing composition nonetheless! Regards,
Ryno

Hi Chris,
Superb lines and graphism here. The varying angles and patterns of the facade take the eye for quite a ride. I like the shadow effect, particularly on the foreground left, where there is the illusion of a crenellated castle turret casting its shadow. The green verdant hills nicely balance and contrast. Very well captured, Chris.

Great study in shapes and textures. I like the contrast between the different sections, the roof being hard, strongly lined and cold coloured, while the forest is soft and irregular, and warmer. Well done!

Hi Chris - this is the best one from Korea you posted so far, the green hills balance the ornate roofs, very Zen garden-like, I agree with above a discrete human figure (a monk not a tourist) would be even better

Nice graphical piece from your "new home", Chris. Good sweeping view in which the staggered alignment of temple roofs gives a subtle 3D feeling, supported by the sunlight. Good contrast with the lush greenery vs the roof patterns. Greetings from Madrid.

Hi Chris
a very fine clear natural colored shot of this typical roofs in perspective, towards the green contrasting trees and nice cloudy sky. Your scans became lately excellent of quality.

Hi Chris,
Great POV over these attractive buddhist roofs and the sight of the tropic greenery in the background. I really love the perspective and the contrast of textures and colors bettween the two sceneries. The soft blue color of the sky enhance the image, as well. Very well done!
Cheers,
Ricardo

Fairly minimal and creative image Chris. The graphic detail on the roof tops is a wondeful contrast to the forested mountain. I also like the interesting play of shadows.

You have well used the sunlight in favor of your compo, Chris. The textures and the repetitions are great. I also like the curved shape of the roof's top line, and the way it stands against the opposite curve of the mountain. A very nice one.

i like the angle of this shot chris ... overlooking the rooves and the mountain.
i find those shadows ugly, however, and i would have cropped them out.
a good image though, and as you said, the trilayering works well.
btw, we need you phone number for saturday so we can organise a meeting time. :)

Hello Chris,
Daniel.
