Busan KTX Station Photo

Photographer’s Note

Busan (population over 4 million) is the southern terminus for the high speed rail link from Seoul known as the KTX (Korea Train eXpress). This is the attractive park in front of the train station. I liked the reflections in the futuristic looking sculptures. Note that the rocks at right, are actually reflections, hence the slight blur.

Hi Chris.
We can easily forget the number of cities in Asia with such large populations. I'd never heard of Busan yet it is the size of Sydney. This is very attractive sculpture and gardens for a railway station, and the environment of the station looks very clean and pleasant. I wonder if this train is the equivalent of the TGV or the Bullet. I'm glad you pointed that out about the rocks on the right!

Interesting the way you have framed this photo, taking advantage of the sculpture - the crowd, the light, the atmosphere are just like I remember the place but probably the sculpture was not there yet - interesting to watch, thanks and have a good weekend !

Great shot! I'm a big fan of reflections, so this one interests me very much. The view through the hole in the sculpture, surrounded by the reflection off the shiney surface of the art really plays with our perception of reality. Is what we are looking at real or reflection? Nice work!
