Photographer’s Note
One day in October 1929, on a train bound for Naju from Gwangju, a bad boy pulled a school girl's hair ribbon. This is said to be the biginning of "Gwangju Student Independence Movement". Please someone tell me if this is Naji station. I was not sure if it is from the train window.
I took the train at Gwanju Songjeong-ri station in 1993 though, I once took a train off at Nam Gwanju station along GyeongJeon Line in 1973. The townscapes along the tracks of GyeongJeon Line back of the Jeolla Province government building then were rustic ones but had gone for now.
