Photographer’s Note
Batticaloa, Sri Lanka about six months after the Tsunami. Most of the rubble has been cleared away or reued but big pieves remain. It seemed that everyone in Batticalo lod family in the tsunami. This is hart of a Hindu temply. Worshipers died here. Now this area is consumed in civial war between the government and the Tamil Tigers.
