Photographer’s Note

I present you the pharmacy of Khorog, principal town of Kuhiston-i-Badakshan. The pharmacy is well stocked, prices are low from my viewpoint. I just needed some bandages and a disinfectant, but there were also antibiotics and special medication available. The products are imported as far as I saw from Russia, Bielorussia, the US. The hospital of Khorog is just on the opposite side of the court (see picture in workshop area).

welch interessante Gesichtszüge die Menschen in Tadschikistan haben ... irgendwie gar nicht so fremdländlisch! Interessant (wie alle deine Fotos) und gut gelungen (schade wegen der Spiegelung des Fensters auf der Ablage rechts; schade auch, dass sich in diesem Raum nicht mehr kräftigere Farben finden ...)

du bist doch hoffentlich nicht gestürzt.
Sehr interessantes Reisereportagefoto. In dem Bild gibt es sehr viel zu entdecken. Das fängt bei der Kleidung der Apothekerin an - die mir wirklich gefällt - und hört bei der chinesischen Decke hinter der Vitrine links auf. Mir fällt besonders auf, dass es sowohl auf diesem Bild als auch auf dem Workshopbild kein Wort Tadschikisch zu entdecken gibt. Alle Inschriften sind auf Russisch. Ich habe vermutet, das hätte sich in den letzten Jahren geändert.
