Isarn Food Peddler in Bangkok Photo

Even in downtown Bangkok food peddler are with such pushcarts on the move. When their are customers, they stop and sell, and then continue to walk the streets. This is a bit unique for Thailand, it is different to Malaysia, where the food hawkers are generally stationary.

This woman from Isarn, how northeastern Thailand is called, has her charcoal stove with her, where she grills basic food such as yams or eggs, all served with very spicy home-made chili paste.

Actually you can find many mobile hawkers at Malaysia too.

Bonjour Urs,
Elle est très souriante cette commerçante. On a envie de lui acheter quelque chose.
J'aurais peut-être coupé le jeune homme portant le numéro 10, mais ce n'est qu'un avis personnel.
Jolie scène typique de Bangkok, impossible à trouver chez nous.

Olá Urs, I would try one of those if I was hungry while passing by to visit one of the temples and have a massage :) Although it's better to eat after the massage and not before. Love her smilling face making the scene more enjoyable and somehow the number 10 contributes for some fun too. Nice details and perspective in the background too.

If only food peddlers in Hong Kong are this friendly. I remember coming across a few times that one peddler said to me "if no buy, go away!" or "no asking, you buy la!"...a language barrier? or is it me :(
