| One of several guards while changing position on a Sunday afternoon. Their clothes and gear looked immaculate in the hot sun. |

I really like those colonial style hats. I used to have one when I was a kid living in Angola.
The front guard posture is excellent but it is a pity he has the wear that orange ID card. It really does not belong to that nice uniform.
The picture is very nice with plenty of details to be found and seen.

Hi Murray,
a nice portrait of the palace guard, you caught is serious expression. The point of view is showing the details an colors of the uniform of the guard. It is clear and sharp. The vase and the plant in the background are extra to the composition. Have a nice day.
Pierre
Hello Murray,
The Thai guards make a picturesque photograph, and you've captured them well. The human eye can adjust to light a little better than cameras, and in order to show how we we would actually see this image with our own eyes, I performed a "simulated correction" — mimicking the eye. I hope you don't regard the ws as meddling, but take a look at an alternative version.
Warm regards, Murray,
Bulent

Hello Murray,
I looked to your second picture, I prefer this second photograph through the group and the most beautiful image.
The point of view is showing the details an colours of the uniform of the guards and the position are very well, a pity for the second guard that we see but the half.
Very well done, TFS.
Best regards,
John.
Somewhere the British empire style remains...
Very interesting guard.
I like it
