Photographer's Note
Phimai is a little town not far from Khorat. Two km far from Phimai there is the oldest Banyan tree of the whole Thailand, growing in a little island inside a lake. The tree is called "Sai Ngam", which means "Nice Banyan". Under the branches there are many fortunetellers. One of them told me that I will live till 83 very happily!

Livia, indeed this is a very special shot, and a important document.
Just wonderful! the structure looks like a huge monster and also like a caring giant at the same time.
These colored cloth coverings are meant to have religious reference, like offerings of wishes.

Fine picture with all that vived colours. and as I understand a tree with a great history who can tells a lot of stories.
