Hi Grant,

Well shot. The bay, lighthouse, the schooner all of it is perfectly place. Good colours and contrast. Slight tilting of the horizon...more imagined than seen.

Grant: Very effective shot using just 2 colors..black and orange. Great impact as the lighthouse and the boat dominate.

Clean and excellent composition.
I like the fact that not all the picture is orange : the windows of the lighthouse are still green, which is a very good thing here to my opinion.

This is a gorgeous postcard shot, an inviting set-up where you took advantage of the burning sunset to catch these delicate silhouettes. I like the lighthouse upper deck, where you can see the green glass transparency, ponctuating this orange glow image.

Hi Grant,

I don't at all manage to see any tilting of the horizon - just scroll down the internet page and place the horizon under the menu bar and you see how straight it is. The shoreline is off course something else, but that is natural!

Wonderful orange - appreciated as a Dutch guy - the lighthouse and the boat. Nice one!

G'Day Grant,

I was not able to visit this part of Thailand, so perhaps on my next visit. The golden/orange tones provide that relaxed atmosphere at days end; it really reminds me of the mood on Phuket's Patong Beach. With nightfall the place really comes alive, the entire streets are much like a continual strip of entertainment and excitement. It can be a bit overwhelming after a few nights but you do miss it when you have been home for a while. A great image, encompassing all good aspects of coastal Thailand.
