Photographer’s Note
Si Satchanalai Historical Park
These thaï dancers just happened to conclude a two days shooting around Sukhothai and offered a good alternative, after so many statues and temples... There was some sunlight filtering through the threes and I was waiting the right moment for a dancer to be in this subtle light.
I have made a portrait of the dancer you can see in this trio.

Nice framing (composition wise) Andre. The dancers on either side of the main one perfectly frame her, except for the arm of the right one covering that temple she has on her head. Great expression on her face, super sharp, detailed and almost surreally smooth looking. The light blue sky in the background looks really nice too. A perfect backdrop for the dancers.
Great work.

Andre, it feels exotic! Stirring colors, wonderful capture of the dancer's expression, and solid choice of perspective: It eliminates distractions and draws attention right to that smiling face. Good, sharp crisp image that tells a story. Just the way we like it.

I think the crop is to tight my friend. The girl we face is loosing a bit at the top (don't know how to call that thing on her head) and that person on the right i am not sure if that one suppose to be inside the frame because she has eye contact with the person on the left which make it a game between those two which is really good composed with arm and facial expression.
Colours are perfect, that red makes so good contrast against that light blue, it really makes the image pop-out.
Despite the tight crop i like it...

I find the black frame a bit heavy and corset-ing for such a suspended (almost) and graceful ballet. Your creativity is really welcome, as dance shots of the Ramakien rarely exalts enhusiasm. this one definitely attracts our attention.

And this one is a poster for Thai Airlines...
"Welcome to Thailand, the land of trios and photographers taking their pictures...Don't get lost amongst the pagodas and don't get molten under the fierce sun. Don't get washed away in the moonsoon shower and don't forget to have a nice massage."
They look like dolls and so real infront of that blue BG, as if cut and pasted. Unless it were not told in the exif data that this was a 200 mm, i could say that you were the fourth dancer among them.
Did you also make them hold your hands???
Cheers,
Deniz
