Il y avait des perles de sueurs,
et autant de douleurs sur ce visage de rage.
J'etais au stade Lumpini.
Je regardais la lumiere.
Je voyais ceux qui jouaient de l'argent sur des combats incertains.
Je voyais ceux que les coups plaquaient au sol ou bien faisaient douter.
Ceux qui pleuraient ou se couvraient de gloire.
Etrange spectacle que la boxe Thai.

and as many pains on this face of rage.
I was at the Lumpini stadium.
I looked at the light.
I saw those which played with the money on dubious combats.
I saw those which the blows plated on the ground or made doubt.
Those which cried or covered glory.
Strange spectacle that Thai boxing.

Hi Bertrand,
Wonderful clear action shot, excellent DOF. Good POV and lighting. With that look I wonder what he is thinking. Some call it sport others have different words to describe these modern day gladiators.

Hello Bertrand,

Excellent composition with very sharp details. The seat truly look like pearls on his face though pain is not so evident. His eyes looking to the camera provide a very nice idea of his attitude. Good details and colou saturation. Thanks for sharing.

Ces gouttes de sueur sont vraiment le point fort de cette superbe image au fort impact. Je te propose même un WS pour recentrer encore plus l'image sur le visage et enlever une partie de cette zone blanche un peu trop présente (mais il me semble que tu n'aimes pas recadrer tes images?)

Great shot Bertrand!

Crystal cleqar sharpness, nice bokeh makes the fighter stand out from the background well. He has a look of confidence about him in this shot I'm guessing attentively listening to his coach?

Hi Bertrand,
This is too powerful a portrait for TE, and one of your definitely best.
I love the originality of the POV and the subject, it is really a nice surprize to see some other portrait and not monks or peasants this time from Far East.
His devastated cold gaze is quite something. Very well captured moment and excellent cadrage as well.

Bonjour Bertrand... Boxeo is difficult for me to understand, even more, any kind of fight is very difficult for me to understand. From this point of view I could read the gesture of this young face as kind of "What the hell I´m doing here" but probably I will be wrong and he´s really enjoying the competion as 95% of people wodeworld does. Good one.

super qualité pour du 1600 iso, les gouttes de sueurs sont particulierement bien rendues, ça sent la souffrance,l'abnegation de soi, la violence et pourtant son regard est celui d'un ange.

Got to say that this wouldn't look out of place in a sports paper. The framing is excellent with the ropes and arm acting as a frame. Really cracking shot Bertrand

Toi aussi, tu aimes explorer mille et un univers. La boxe thaïlandaise est extrêmement violente et même un "travail d'enfants" sur lesquels on fait des gros paris d'argent :(
Ton image transmet bien toute la détermination du jeune "gladiateur"

Magnifique cliché ! Le cadrage est impeccable et la netteté parfaite permet même de voir la transpiration du boxeur. Le "regard de tigre" du boxeur apporte un plus à la photo. Un grand bravo.

J'aime beaucoup cette photo portrait du boxeur au repos. La sueur perle sur le visage et le regard se perd dans le vague.
Le POV met en valeur le visage et le gant de boxe, un vrai raccourci.

Wonderful approach to this Thai boxer in his corner and to his carefull coach or doctor(?) taking care of him.
His look towards you, the pearls of sweat, and his arm and hand gesture are trully amazing details of this photo, and all combined makes it IMO.
