On the way to Mae sai(the northernmost city of Thailand) we stopped in a village in the Chiang Rai province. A festival was going on around a temple and we decided to have a look at it!
This hill tribe woman was sitting with her family under a tent.

Ce visage exprime une grande quiétude, et tu l'as cadrée de belle manière... J'aime bien la mise au point précise sur les yeux, qui, je crois, sont ouverts au maximum, elle a simplement les yeux bridés!
Bonne texture des yeux et exposition difficile bien maîtrisée (a l'ombre avec l'arrière en plein soleil, si je me rappelle bien!

C'est impressionnant de découvrir ce visage si serein avec une telle netteté. Il me semble même que l'on voit quelques gouttes de sueur sur son front.

je suis partagée ,en ce qui concerne un cadrage si serré chez un adulte!D'une part,j'aime,car il fait bien ressortir l'expression du visage,d'autre part j'aime moins,car je trouve la texture de la peau trop présente,ce qui gâche un peu la douceur et la mélancolie du regard!Je n'aurais pas dit la même chose d'une personne très agée,dont les rides sont parfois un charme supplémentaire(en photo ;o)),mais ici ce n'est pas le cas,c'est juste le grain qui est trop visible à mon goût!Bien sûr ,ce n'est qu'une vision très personnelle,alors n'en tiens pas trop compte!Quoiqu'il en soit,le portrait est bien réussi!

Il ne devait pas faire froid ce jour-là à en croire les quelques gouttes de sueur qui perlent sur son front. Regard qui semble perdu dans ses pensée joliment mis en valeur sur cette photo. Dear Marilyn,
Sometimes i open images and close them again. Coming back later, open them again and close it again. Sometimes i never come back, sometimes i do...like this one.
First i thought it's to close, maybe it would have worked beter when the woman would have looked at you. Now i think it's good that she's not looking towards you. Now we see deep thoughts, staring in to...? We will never know, but that view is intriging enough to stand still here and think about it.
Look around her eyes...superb sharpness, never over the top, very natural, just like her skintones...great..!!!

et puis ce choix subtile d'une personne ni trés belle ni trés vieille, simplement elle même...
on va si souvent vers des traits marqués qu'on en oublierai le réel ,sans masque.
