Salads are big in Central Asia, and a lot of them come from the local bazaars like this one, where a bunch of women are lined up to sell their carrot salads and similar stuff.

Hello Daniel,
The alignment of ladies and of carrots well captured, the former all with different moods and expressions.
Lacks a little sharpness, I guess the focus was on the carrots.

Very good diagonal composition of this very different daily life scene. All the woman have different expressions and it seems somehow appropriate for the success of the image that it is the one on the far end that is drinking her tea/coffee.

Hello Dan -

Wow, you are sure off the beaten path with this image. Excellent composition with a diagonal placement and paralleling lines between the women and their salads. Shredded carrots in the market - something different for sure. Also, this scene is very colorful with the bright orange of the carrots and the multicolors of the womens dress. Well seen and presented.

BTW, when Joanne and I travel we like visiting the local market days as they are a lot of fun and you can really get a better picture of the culture and habits of the locals.

A very colourful photo - especially the orange of the carrots. Each women has a different expression - one is concerned, another day-dreams, the next is puzzled, then there is a smiling lady and finally a relaxed woman drinking a very hot drink. Well seen. Tfs, Marlene

hi Dan,
the diagonal composition works really well, and bright orange salad cones nicely emphasise the strong line. love the different expressions culminating in cautious approach to the drink, I agree with Kath that for some reason that cup of tea/coffee is essential in the composition, like a full stop after a sentence of expressions. nice work, I like it a lot.
