Photographer’s Note
Travel by road in Viêt Nam is very slow. Not because there is a big car traffic; harvest, bicycles, scooters, buffalos. You have to stop several times or you have to drive very very slow. From the other hand, it's a wonderful opportunity to observe their daily life. In our way to Halong Bay, we looked to all the people working hard with old machinery but quite efficient.

Hi Roser,
Ah wonderful time of year, not as hot anymore and no more rain. the rice are ready, more fresh rice, which smell so good when they are newly havested. Typical Vietnamese hats by booth man and woman. Although the man's hat reminded me of the Vietnamese Communist soldiers. Lovely daily life shot, very nostalgic for me. I love it.

Hi Roser, I keep coming back to view this image, the composition could be better, however the spontaneous activity taking place is very engaging.Am surprised to see that the rice is harvested when its looks so green, good bright colours .Thanks Tom.

A good action shot you just happened to witness as you travelled by road. Very detailed and so colourful. Tfs, Marlene
