Photographer's Note

This is an experiment. And this happened during my last hours in Vietnam.

The time is early morning, before 7:00 am. The breakfast won't be available until 7:00 and we would be off for the airport at 8:00. I want to do some panning shots. The night before, I read the manual of my camera. I practiced.

The next morning, I went out of the hotel located at the heart of Hanoi. Bicycles everywhere! Students rushing to school. People going to their office. Vendors transporting their goods. And I was there clicking here and there.

These two kids are students. They are apparently talking to each other while pedalling their bikes. They are wearing their identical jackets (all schoolchildren have the same jacket) because it was quite cold and this was taken in between rains. I like this shot a lot because I feel I have suceeded on my experiments. I am not a "manual" person. I couldn't really follow instructions very much. That WAS then. I think I am not that "stupid".

PS work is only cropping and sharpening. I also adjusted brightness and contrast.
