Photographer’s Note

Time for a break...

As I make a point of being completely incommunicado during my yearly summer break, this is my last shot before I go.

This picture shows a decoration pattern on a Mui Ne fishing boat. The eye protects the fishermen from the dangers at sea, keeps the monsters away, etc.

Also it is - of course - the most important tool for any photographer.

Hi Benny,
It's interesting and useful you mention it's the decoration on a Mui Ne fishing boat, so typical in Vietnam and the Delta of Mekong. It looks like a painting. Honestly speaking I would like to have it as a poster decorating my room. The eye wqould also protect me, isn't it ? I wish you a nice summer vacation.
